Here is a cute story from Zaylia's first days in our family. She hated the car seat and always cried when we put her in it. It's hard for the kids to be in the car with a crying baby! Vander would say, "Put on a Jesus song, Mom, so she'll stop crying!" What he meant was a Christmas song. It was inevitable that we would hear lots of Christmas music in the car in December. Within a few minutes of driving, the motion of the car and humming of the engine would put her to sleep but Vander thought it was the Christmas music. Since I love Christmas music I didn't disabuse him of this notion. I even found a station that was still playing Christmas music into January!
