How to take pictures of kids

Often, to get a kid to give you a spontaneous smile, you must do something, um, spontaneous.

This is an example of what can be achieved with an almost-four-year-old when you stick a pebble up your nose.


 When the child turns away, snap a shot and pretend that she is contemplating deep thoughts.

 When you see this face, your session is almost complete.
 Time's up, Mom!
 Or maybe just one more.

I am so lucky to have these children who are beautiful inside and out!  What is your favorite shot?
